Ingredients

  • 1 yellow onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 carrot
  • 600 g beef brisket
  • 30 ml tomato paste
  • 410 g canned diced tomatoes
  • 2 sprigs thyme or rosemary
  • 2 sage leaves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 125 ml red wine
  • 125 ml water
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • Salt and pepper
  • For Serving
  • Cooked pasta of choice
  • Fresh basil
  • Grated Parmesan
  • Drizzle of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Micro Pressure Cooker, stir to combine then securely cover and lock. Microwave for 30 min. at 900 watts.

  2. Remove from microwave and allow to stand with the cover on until the Pressure Indicator drops, approx. 15 min., then unlock and remove cover. 

  3. Remove cooked beef and shred with two forks then return to Pressure Cooker and stir to combine. 

  4. Serve ragu with cooked pasta, fresh basil, Parmesan and drizzle of olive oil.
